Cumberland County woman 'overjoyed' at surprise $133,315 jackpot
Kemisha Vandunk of Spring Lake won $133,315 in the Cash 5 jackpot. She said she was 'overjoyed' with the news of her winnings.
A Spring Lake woman was stunned to learn how much she would be awarded after a Cash 5 jackpot win.
“When we got here and they told us how much it was, I was overjoyed,” said Kemisha Vandunk. “I thought I won maybe $1,000.”
But it was a $133,315 Cash 5 Jackpot prize for Vandunk to claim after she went to the Short Stop on Anderson Ponds Drive in Spring Lake to buy a coffee and a $1 Quick Pick ticket.
“It was just like any normal day and then boom,” Vandunk laughed.
After taxes, Vandunk took home $95,321.
Vandunk said she will put some of her winnings toward retirement and use some for her family’s trucking business.
