Crime Stoppers tips from community lead to arrest of 2 Fayetteville men

Community concerns and several Crime Stoppers tips led to two arrests and the seizure of multiple fire arms, narcotics and U.S. currency.

On April 6 the Fayetteville Police Department executed a search warrant along E. Orange Street. This was a result of concerns from the community and several Crime Stoppers tips, which allowed police to obtain a search warrant.

The search warrant resulted in the seizure of the following:

  • An assault rifle
  • Three hand guns (two were reported stolen)
  • 476g of marijuana
  • 20.75g of crack cocaine
  • 58.20g of cocaine
  • 10 Oxycodone pills
  • Drug paraphernalia
  • Several magazines and ammunition
  • $34,006 in U.S. currency

Isaiah Shaw, 25, of Fayetteville Shaw received a $118,000 secured bond and was charged with the following:

  • Trafficking cocaine
  • Trafficking by manufacturing cocaine
  • Maintaining a dwelling
  • Possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II drug (Oxycodone)
  • Possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana
  • Felony conspiracy
  • Possession of stolen firearm

Deumbre Ginyard, 23, of Fayetteville was charged with felony conspiracy and received a $30,000 unsecured bond.

Credits
