Community concerns and several Crime Stoppers tips led to two arrests and the seizure of multiple fire arms, narcotics and U.S. currency.
On April 6 the Fayetteville Police Department executed a search warrant along E. Orange Street. This was a result of concerns from the community and several Crime Stoppers tips, which allowed police to obtain a search warrant.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of the following:
- An assault rifle
- Three hand guns (two were reported stolen)
- 476g of marijuana
- 20.75g of crack cocaine
- 58.20g of cocaine
- 10 Oxycodone pills
- Drug paraphernalia
- Several magazines and ammunition
- $34,006 in U.S. currency
Isaiah Shaw, 25, of Fayetteville Shaw received a $118,000 secured bond and was charged with the following:
- Trafficking cocaine
- Trafficking by manufacturing cocaine
- Maintaining a dwelling
- Possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II drug (Oxycodone)
- Possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana
- Felony conspiracy
- Possession of stolen firearm
Deumbre Ginyard, 23, of Fayetteville was charged with felony conspiracy and received a $30,000 unsecured bond.
