Concerts in Raleigh, Durham this year: Jimmy Buffett, Tim McGraw, Backstreet Boys

As coronavirus cases drop to a new low in North Carolina, many people are looking forward to going out and enjoying life again. There are many big name musicians visiting Raleigh and Durham this spring and summer that you should be on the look out for. Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews Band, Kid Rock, the Backstreet Boys, Morgan Wallen and Tim McGraw will all be coming to Raleigh.

Many of the venues require guests to wear masks or provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination before attending. Make sure to check each venue's COVID-19 requirements before purchasing tickets.

March/April concerts at the Ritz

• Country music star Dylan Scott, known for his 2016 hit "My Girl," will play at the Ritz on March 25.
• Shakey Graves, a folk musician known for his song "Dearly Departed," will perform at the Ritz on March 31.
• Icelandic blues rock band KALEO, which has sold over one million albums worldwide, is coming to the Ritz on April 1.
• Car Seat Headrest, an alternative band with the staple song "Drunk Drivers/Killer Whales," will perform at the Ritz on April 7.
• Heavy metal guitarist Jerry Cantrell, best known as the lead guitarist and main songwriter of Alice in Chains, is coming to the Ritz on April 9.
• Indie rock band Mt. Joy known for their song "Astrovan" will perform at the Ritx on April 12.
• The Band Camino, an indie band from Tennessee, will perform at the Ritz on April 22.
• The Bay Strikes Back Tour featuring the heavy metal bands Testament, Exodus and Death Angel is coming to the Ritz on April 27.
