3 ingredient cookie butter cookies

Today, we're kicking off our annual run of holiday cookie recipes! And we're launching it with a recipe that could not be easier - 3 ingredient cookie butter cookies. I will now be storing a jar of cookie butter in my cupboard for those days when I need cookies, STAT!

3 Ingredient Cookie Butter Cookies

Adapted from Kirbe's Cravings

1 cup cookie butter spread (Biscoff might be the most popular brand, but you can find similar at Trader Joe's and sold through other brands.)
1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp flour
1 large egg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and layer a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir until it is all combined. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the cookie sheet and roll each spoonful into a small ball. This recipe makes 12 cookies - so you should come out with 12 balls. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until they are firm in the center. It can't get any easier than that!

These also might make for a quick, inexpensive holiday gift - just package up a jar of the spread, some flour and a fancy recipe card.
