Chinese New Year Festival planned at Dorton Arena

The Triangle Area Chinese American Society (TACAS) will present the Chinese New Year Festival celebrating the Year of the Dragon on Saturday, Jan. 27. 

This festival will be held at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds’ Dorton Arena from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. WRAL anchor Renee Chou will the emcee from noon to 3 p.m.

Enjoy performances and family-friendly activities. There will be authentic Chinese and international food and drink for purchase.

Tickets are $7 in advance and $10 at the door. Tickets are $7 in advance and at the door for TACAS members, senior citizens (65+) and military with ID.

Children under 6 years old are admitted free.
