The Town of Cary has a couple of virtual or self-guided events for families this weekend. Here's what's scheduled:

Hoppin' Around Cary Easter Egg Hunt

From March 19 to March 21, you can hop around Cary to search for nine giant Easter eggs. Check out the nine egg-hunting clues on Cary's website to guide your way. When you find an egg, you can scan the QR code with your smartphone and receive an entry for that location. The more eggs you find, the more you'll have the chance to win one of five Easter baskets. More information and all of the clues are on Cary's website.. This is a free, drop-in event.

Marvelous Music Virtual Concert

And Roger Day, a two-time Parent's Choice Gold Award winner, will perform "Zookeeper's in the House," at 10 a.m., March 20. The 45-minute-long concert is free. You can RSVP on Cary's website. The show will take place on Facebook Live and YouTube.

Here's a description: Through interactive, energetic songs Roger will encourage young audience members to observe, reflect, question and decide as they not only learn about the amazing animals at the zoo but also the dedicated team of scientists who take care of them every day. Filmed partly at the Birmingham Zoo, this program also includes video clips of the animals and their handlers.
