Caregiver charged with indecent liberties with a child

The Alamance County Sheriff's Office has charged a male caregiver with indecent liberties with a child.

Billy Michael Daniels, 35, of Burlington, was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of felony indecent liberties with a child.

The investigation began on May 21, when the Special Victims Unit of the Alamance County Sheriff's Office was informed that Daniels was suspected of committing indecent liberties with a child.

During the investigation, detectives found probable cause to charge Daniels.

Daniels is being held on a $75,000 secured bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
