At 10:31 p.m., the Nash County Sheriff's Office got a call about a fire at the Budget Inn.
Several fire agencies were dispatched to the Budget Inn at 3621 Hathaway Blvd.
Crews were still on scene, as of 3:31 a.m., which is more than five hours later.
You can see the extensive damage the fire caused.
No one was injured.
WRAL News is working to learn the extent of the damage.
The Sharpsburg Fire Department is investigating the fire.
