Bank robbed on Creedmoor Road in Raleigh

First National Bank on Creedmoor Road was robbed Monday afternoon.

Around 12:40 p.m. officers with the Raleigh Police Department responded to the bank at 7100 Creedmoor Road.

According to police, a person entered the bank and handed a teller a note demanding money.

The teller complied, and the suspect fled the scene.

According to police, the suspect implied they had a weapon.

The investigation is ongoing. No suspect description was available.
