Arlington County, Virginia, police arrested 52-year-old George Porcha for carnal knowledge of a minor and taking indecent liberties with children.
The Winterville man has been suspended without pay from his job at Ayden Middle School, according to the school system. Porcha is an exceptional children’s teacher who was hired Feb. 20.
Virginia police say the crimes happened when Porcha was a girl’s basketball coach at Washington Lee High School, which is now Washington-Liberty High School.
