Avelo Airlines announces new non-stop flights to New York

Avelo Airlines will offer new nonstop service from Raleigh to New York’s Albany International Airport beginning in May.

It's the first airline to offer nonstop service between Albany, the state capitol of New York, and Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

The announcement was made on the anniversary of Avelo launching its operations at RDU.

The route will operate twice each week, on Monday and Friday, beginning May 10. Introductory rates start at $62.

Avelo will also double its frequency of flights to Rochester, N.Y., and the Manchester, New Hampshire, and Boston, Massachusetts, regions to four flights per week beginning May 2.
