Amber Alert cancelled: Mebane Police searching for missing 11-month-old Deonte Tayborn

The Mebane Police Department has cancelled the search for an 11-month-old child, Deonte Tayborn, who was abducted from his home on West Washington Street Sunday afternoon.

Police described Tayborn as a black male, approximately 2 feet tall, and weighs 25 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a light blue onesie with clouds.

The suspected abductor is Deonte Taborn, a 30-year-old black male, 6 feet tall, and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen in a denim outfit.

The child was taken from 301 West Washington Street. The abductor is reportedly heading towards Person County, and they are believed to be traveling in a Black 2014 Audi A4 with the North Carolina license plate number RDV-1184.
