Amber Alert canceled: Harnett deputies still searching for 'armed and dangerous' suspect after missing 2-year-old girl found safe
Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert for a missing 2-year-old girl on Thanksgiving.
The Harnett County Sheriff's Office said authorities found Rayilee Ariyah Rose Coleman safe and unharmed.
The sheriff's office said a woman arrived at 4:30 a.m. Thursday at the Dunn Police Department asking for help from law enforcement. The Harnett County Sheriff's Office arrived, and found Dynasty Oneal Coleman forced his way into the woman's home on Cocateil Lane in Dunn.
According to the sheriff's office, Coleman physically and sexually assaulted the woman at gunpoint "for an extended period of time."
The sheriff's office said after Rayilee awoke, Coleman took her to Faison. Law enforcement found the girl there around 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Coleman is the father of Rayilee, the sheriff's office said.
Coleman, 37, is charged with first-degree forcible rape, first-degree kidnapping, first-degree force sexual offense, abduction of a child, breaking and entering, assault by strangulation and assault on a female.
Law enforcement has yet to arrest Coleman, who the sheriff's office considers "armed and dangerous."
Amber Alert issued Thursday morning out of Harnett County
On Thursday morning, the Harnett County Sheriff's Office released an Amber Alert for Rayilee.
Authorities said the girl was believed to be with her father Dynasty Oneal Coleman, who is described as a 37-year-old Black male, standing 6'1" tall and weighing 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black, long-sleeved thermal, blue jeans and Fila sneakers that are black, white and red. He was wearing a blue zip-up coat. His left or right thumb has had surgery due to an extra finger at birth.
Coleman could be in a 2009 Champagne Nissan Murano with license plate KHS6596. The vehicle has blacked-out rims and tires.
Coleman could be headed to Newton Grove in the Clinton area. They were last seen in Dunn.

Coleman's criminal history
Coleman hasn't had criminal charges or been convicted since 2011.
His prior convictions are for larceny, possession of a firearm by a felon and possession with intent to distribute. He also has other traffic charges, including DWI/reckless driving.
