All lanes reopened after box truck overturns on I-540 at I-40 in Raleigh

A box truck overturned and closed the four left lanes of I-540 West at Exit 1 (I-40) in Raleigh.

As of 11:30 a.m., the scene has been cleared and the lanes are reopened.

Sky 5 flew over the scene where the crash happened.

The box truck could be seen sprawled across several lanes of the highway.

There were heavy delays this morning, and traffic was backed up between Glenwood Ave. and Aviation Parkway.
