Activate Good, a local group that connects people with volunteer opportunities, is hosting a special event for kids ages 3 to 6 next month.

Sing-A-Long and Serve with Grandma Paula is 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., Sunday, March 8, in a pop-up space on Oberlin Road in Raleigh.

Here's a description:

Grandma Paula, kids, and parents, will join in on old favorite tunes, new easy to remember songs, musical and rhythmic exercises and dance, with related discussions centered on themes like kindness, empathy, and helping others. Then, kids and parents can participate in a kid-friendly service project to put these themes into practice!

Grandma Paula is Paula C Snyder, a longtime performer based in Raleigh. The program is free for kids and their parents. Check the Eventbrite page for more information and to sign up.
