WRAL First Night - WRAL First Night Raleigh is happening Dec. 31 in downtown Raleigh. Activities include live music, crafts, magic, comedy and more across 20 blocks of downtown. Things get started at 2 p.m. with the children's celebration and continue with the People's Procession parade at 6 p.m., followed by the early acorn drop at 7 p.m. with fireworks. Things continue until midnight when the acorn is dropped and fireworks go off to celebrate the beginning of a new year.
New Year's Eve Gala - Raleigh’s premier New Year’s Eve event at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences’ Nature Research Center in downtown Raleigh is happening again this year. Hosted by Rocky Top Catering, this holiday bash of the year features four floors of delicious food and late-night snacks, high-end open bars, craft cocktails, a DJ and two dance floors. Tickets include admission, food and beverages and entertainment.
Big Something New Year's Eve 2023 - Big Something New Years Eve at The Lincoln Theatre is a three day celebration with Little Stranger (Dec. 29), Fireside Collective (Dec. 30) and Susto Stringband (Dec. 31). Three day pass tickets are $75.
New Year's Eve at The Merchant - This event features a five course cocktail pairing and pre-fixe dinner menu from 5 to 10 p.m. and a late night party from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Both will include a premium champagne toast.
New Year's Eve at The Green Light Bar - Spend NYE at this speakeasy and enjoy a four courses including three different mini dessert bites and one shareable charcuterie board. Ticket will also get you into the Architect Bar and Social House. Tickets are $108.

Umbrella Dry Bar Grand Opening Party - Umbrella Dry Bar, Raleigh's first non-alcoholic bar, will open New Year's Eve. The bar, bottle shop and event space will be located at 14 W. NYE Party at a historic manor: Even Better Together with Between2Clouds - This event boasts an "artsier, dancier New Years Eve party" with art installations and deep underground dance music at The Matthews House.
