Davie County wins 4A wrestling tournament title; Mallard Creek's Cam Stinson named MOW
Davie County backed up their wrestling dual-team title with a N.C. High School Athletic Association team tournament championship on Saturday.
The War Eagles had 100 points, clipping runner-up Lumberton by four points. In all, Davie County had five state placers, including one champion.
The Most Outstanding Wrestler award went to Mallard Creek's Cameron Stinson, who made history as just the third wrestler in state history to finish his career with four titles and zero career losses.
