4 arrested in plot to smuggle meth, marijuana into Lee County jail

Lee County authorities have arrested four people, including two inmates, in a plot to smuggle drugs into the Lee County jail.

Lee County authorities have arrested four people, including two inmates, in a plot to smuggle drugs into the Lee County jail.

Maria Luisa Nambo, Hazel Brianna Russell, Matthew Rashaud Jamell Green and Michael Sesar Fiscal were all charged in an operation to bring methamphetamine and marijuana into the jail. Green and Fiscal are inmates.

One of the people arrested was an employee of Aramark, a contracted food service supplier at the jail.

  • Nambo was arrested and charged with possess with intent to sell and deliver methamphetamine, possess with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of controlled substance on jail premises, conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine, conspiracy to deliver marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Nambo was brought before the Lee County Magistrate, who issued a $20,000 Secured Bond.
  • Russell was arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine and conspiracy to deliver marijuana. Russell was brought before the Lee County Magistrate, who issued a $15,000 Secured Bond.
  • Green was arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine and conspiracy to deliver marijuana. Green was brought before the Lee County Magistrate and was issued an additional $15,000 Secured Bond.
  • Fiscal was arrested and charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine and conspiracy to deliver marijuana. Fiscal was brought before the Lee County Magistrate, who issued a $15,000 Secured Bond.
