12-year-old rescued from sinkhole Friday in Harnett County
According to the Lillington Fire Department, the sinkhole was located off of NC Highway 210 near Lillington on Day Song Court. Authorities said it took nearly an hour to get the 12-year-old out of the sinkhole.

According to the Lillington Fire Department, the sinkhole was located off of NC Highway 210 near Lillington on Day Song Court.
Authorities said it took nearly an hour to get the 12-year-old out of the sinkhole.
The child was in “good condition” after they were rescued and transferred to the hospital.
It is unknown how long the child was in the sinkhole and the incident is under investigation.
