Before we get to the list, we have one seasonal roundups to get to first.

It's Black History Month, which means local venues are planning special events. This weekend, the NC Museum of History and Historic Raleigh Trolley have special tours, New Creation United Methodist Church will host Meet the Heroes of Black History and Cary hosts its 25th annual African American Celebration, among other activities. Our Black History Month roundup has more information about these events and others.

Raleigh

Raleigh Little Theatre's run of "Seussical" continues this week. The show runs through Sunday, Feb. 23, and includes a Feb. 29 sensory-friendly performance. It all takes place at the Cantey V. Sutton Theatre, which is near Raleigh's Cameron Village. Tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for kids. (At last check, tickets were limited.)

Flannels & Frost, organized by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, is 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22, on Moore Square. The afternoon will include live music, hot drinks, treats and a variety of activities, including s'mores roasting, arts and crafts and more.

Quail Ridge Books will host a special storytime with picture book author Tameka Fryer Brown from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 22. Brown will be there with her new book "Brown Baby Lullaby."

Durham

Duke and Cornell's baseball teams will play four games this Friday, Feb. 21, to Monday, Feb. 24, at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Games are 4 p.m., Friday, 1 p.m., Saturday, 1 p.m., Sunday, and 4 p.m., Monday. Tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for kids and seniors.

Chapel Hill

Ackland Art Museum's regular Family and Friends program is 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 23, at the museum. Activities include movement workshops and art-making.

Morehead Planetarium will host a Star Families program with a focus on African Sky Stories from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 22. These are best for kids ages 7 to 12 and their families. Ticekts are $9.25 for adults and $8.25 for kids.

Cary

Kids Everywear, the massive children's consignment sale that recently moved from Morrisville to Cary Towne Center, will hold a February EverthingELSE Sale starting this weekend, featuring pretty much everything except children's clothing and books. The sale will include adult clothing and accessories, furniture, appliances, toys, baby equipment, nursing and maternity wear, housewares, shoes in all sizes, purses and more. Public shopping hours start Sunday. They are: 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., Feb. 23; noon to 7 p.m., Feb. 24; and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 25.
