<b>BOONE, N.C.</b> — Appalachian State University has alerted students about a reported on-campus stabbing on Thursday.

A message was sent to the campus community, reading: "Stabbing in the area of Peacock Hall. Suspect left the area in a Black Toyota Convertible. Avoid the area."

An <a href="https://appstatealert.com/" target="_blank">update posted to an Appalachian State alert page</a> around 12:33 p.m. said suspects are in custody. There is no word yet on the condition of the victims.
