Stabbing reported on campus at Appalachian State University

Appalachian State University has alerted students about a reported on-campus stabbing on Thursday.

BOONE, N.C. — Appalachian State University has alerted students about a reported on-campus stabbing on Thursday.

A message was sent to the campus community, reading: "Stabbing in the area of Peacock Hall. Suspect left the area in a Black Toyota Convertible. Avoid the area."

An update posted to an Appalachian State alert page around 12:33 p.m. said suspects are in custody. There is no word yet on the condition of the victims.

Peacock Hall houses the university's Walker College of Business.
