Durham Bulls

(Moosic, PA) Reid Brignac's sixth inning homer tied the game at four, but Scranton followed with five in the seventh to beat Durham 9-5 on Sunday.

Scranton, which has the league's best record at 22-9, swept the four-game series from the 12-17 Bulls, and took 7 of 8 in the season series.

Justin Christian, who had 6 RBI the previous day, started the winning rally with a bunt single. Greg Porter then walked against Chris Mason (1-4). After Bernie Castro struck out on a bunt attempt, Nick DeBarr walked the next two batters to force home a run and give Scranton a 5-4 advantage. Brian Henderson came in and gave up a grand slam to left to Jason Lane.

Kei Igawa (3-3) allowed the homer to Brignac and two runs in the first, but got the victory.

Brignac and Joel Guzman had two hits apiece for Durham. The Bulls will start a four-game series with Pawtucket in Rhode Island on Monday with Mitch Talbot on the mound.
