Football 2008: Wakefield

FunCam: Knightdale vs. Wakefield on August 31, 2007The Wakefield Wolverines will have their fifth head coaching change in six years this season after Chip Williams left the school for Scotland County in March. Williams came to Wakefield after retiring from New Bern. He is a Raleigh native, and he led the Wolverines to a 6-6 record in his debut season, but all six losses came inside the Cap-Seven Conference. Wakefield will look to turn their program around in 2008, contending for the Cap-Seven title in what should be a pretty strong conference.
