Silver Alert canceled for couple last seen at Moore County hospital

A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday for a couple who went missing from a Moore County hospital.

PINEHURST, N.C. — Update: Authorities said Clyde and Annie Hussey have been found safe.

A Silver Alert was issued Tuesday for a couple who went missing from a Moore County hospital.

Authorities said Clyde Hobert Hussey, 86, and Annie Carolyn Hussey, 76, were last seen at about 3 a.m. at First Health Moore Regional Hospital at 155 Memorial Drive in Pinehurst.

Clyde Hussey is described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has short gray hair and blue eyes.

A description of Annie Hussey was not immediately available, but photos show she has short, brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities said the couple left the hospital in a red 2018 Toyota RAV-4 with North Carolina license plate HD8 8121.
