Salisbury Street & Six Forks Road in Raleigh to close Tuesday for sewer repairs

Two major roads in Raleigh will be closed Tuesday for sewer repairs.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two major roads in Raleigh will be closed Tuesday for sewer repairs.

Raleigh Water will conduct a right-lane closure of the 200 block of Six Forks Road for a planned sewer improvement project. The road will be closed from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Part of Salisbury Street will also be closed Tuesday for sewer repairs.

Raleigh Water will close the left lane of the 200 block of South Salisbury Street, between South Salisbury Street and South McDowell Street, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. for a sewer line repair.

Drivers should take alternate routes to avoid traffic. Remember to use caution when driving in these areas.

Customers should not experience any interruption of services. If services do get interrupted, customers will be notified by Raleigh Water staff via phone call, property visit and/or doorhanger.
