Weather
Ask the Meteorologists : Can I ask you what the front part of a hurricane or typhoon is called?Ask the Meteorologists : I've been experimenting with your interactive weather radar & love it so far. The only problem I see is it always dafaults back to the original view after a few minutes, defeating the purpose of watching weather at a certain location (like my own house for instance). Is this simply a "Beta" thing, or will the final version of the software allow the view to remain wherever users set it? Also, how can we have it automatically refresh without it reverting back to the original view? That is a bit annoying. Thank you & keep up the great work with the weather features. I use your site exclusively at home & at work.
Ask the Meteorologists : We are Military and just moved here to Seven Lakes N., North Carolina. I was wondering by chance has Tornado hit in this area that often. People that has lived here for 15 years said they have never seen one here in Seven Lakes, but have heard some hitting in Southern Pines.. I am scared to death of Tornado's and in our house the rooms are up stairs and the living room and kitchen is in the middle of the house so there is really no walls..so any advise for where would be a safe place to take cover just in case something like that comes this way?
