Rocky Mount man killed in hit-and-run Monday night
According to the Rocky Mount Police Department, the man was walking across Fairview Road around 6:26 p.m. when a car traveling south struck him. EMS transported the man to the hospital, where he later died.

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. — A 60-year-old man was hit and killed Monday night in Rocky Mount.
According to the Rocky Mount Police Department, the man was walking across Fairview Road around 6:26 p.m. when a car traveling south struck him.
EMS transported the man to the hospital, where he later died.
Rocky Mount police said the investigation is ongoing.
