FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Family members told WRAL News Monday that police found the SUV of a missing Fayetteville man this weekend with his body inside.

Kendrick McArthur's SUV was apparently located in the woods this weekend, several days after relatives grew concerned about his whereabouts.

His brother took to social media to ask anyone if they had seen McArthur.

"After my mom called me and said he was missing for a couple of days," his brother Roderick Whitted said.. "I said if anyone has seen my brother, to please give me a call."

He said he received a call a few minutes after the post with information.

Whitted says his brother was a good father and didn't deserve to die in the way he was killed.

"He was a great father who came over to see his daughter all the time," Whitted said. "He loved his mom. He loved me. He was a good dude."

Two men, Victor Cameron and James Nixon, were arrested several days ago in connection with McArthur's death.

Cameron has been charged with the shooting, and was being held Monday on a $275,000 bond.

Nixon was also in custody, and was being held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.

Both suspects were at the Cumberland County Detention Center.

An autopsy on how McArthur was killed has been ordered to determine his cause of death. And the men could face upgraded charges after those results are known.

.McArthur's mother is heartbroken. She says she has now lost four of her five children in violent or tragic events since 2011.
