Raleigh police respond to shots fired reported in The Colony shopping center

Police are investigating a report of shots fired near a restaurant in a shopping center on Six Forks Road late Friday night.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating a report of shots fired near a restaurant in a shopping center on Six Forks Road late Friday night.

Officers were called to a scene at The Colony shopping center around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of Six Forks and Millbrook roads.

When officers arrived, they found shell casings in the parking lot near the Bull and Bear restaurant. They also found damage to the Exxon gas station nearby.

There are no reported victims and no suspects at this time. Police are reviewing security footage from nearby businesses to piece together what may have happened.
