RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police conducted an investigation over the weekend, which led to the confiscation of a pistol, marijuana, codeine and currency.

According to the police, people arrested face charges of trafficking marijuana, trafficking opium, possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana, conspiracy to traffic marijuana, child abuse and several other charges.

“We strive to make Raleigh the safest city in the country and will work with the community to do so,” Raleigh police wrote in a Facebook post.

Raleigh police did not specify how many people officers arrested.
