Raleigh man charged with murder following fatal shooting on Quail Hollow Drive

At approximately 4:53 a.m., the Raleigh Police Department responded to a reported shooting in the 3300 block of Quail Hollow Drive.
When officers arrived, they found Jose Ignacio Marquez-Diaz, 23, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Diaz was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
This incident is now being investigated as a homicide.
Police arrested and charged Elder Nahun Banegas-Mencia, 18, with murder.
