Raleigh house fire displaces six people, cause under investigation

According to the Raleigh Fire Department, the fire happened at a two-story, single-family home on the 3700 block of Marsh Lane. Authorities said crews gained control of the fire in about 10 minutes, with 35 firefighters on the scene.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A fire damaged a home Sunday in Raleigh.

According to the Raleigh Fire Department, the fire happened at a two-story, single-family home on the 3700 block of Marshlane Way.

Authorities said crews gained control of the fire in about 10 minutes, with 35 firefighters on the scene.

There were no injuries, and the Red Cross is helping three adults and three children displaced by the fire.

The fire is under investigation.
