RALEIGH, N.C. — A basketball game scheduled Thursday night at Dillard Drive Magnet Middle School has been postponed due to a threat.

Principal Margaret Feldman sent a letter to families reading:

To keep you informed, I wanted to make you aware we have received a report of a threat that is specific to tonight’s basketball game against Ligon Magnet Middle School. Out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing tonight’s game. A new date for the game will be shared soon.

Feldman said Wake County Public School System's security team and local law enforcement are evaluating the credibility of the threat.
