Raleigh police are investigating a Friday night shooting as a homicide after the victim died as a result of his injuries.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police are investigating a Friday night shooting as a homicide after the victim died as a result of his injuries.

Jorge Salas-Ramos, 34, was <a href="https://www.wral.com/story/man-seriously-injured-in-raleigh-shooting/17348268/">seriously injured in a shooting</a> that occurred in the 5200 block of Dana Drive in Raleigh around 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Salas-Ramos was taken to WakeMed for treatment and died Tuesday as a result of his injuries.
