Police investigating homicide after man dies from injuries in Raleigh shooting

Raleigh police are investigating a Friday night shooting as a homicide after the victim died as a result of his injuries.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are investigating a Friday night shooting as a homicide after the victim died as a result of his injuries.
Jorge Salas-Ramos, 34, was seriously injured in a shooting that occurred in the 5200 block of Dana Drive in Raleigh around 7:15 p.m. Friday.

Salas-Ramos was taken to WakeMed for treatment and died Tuesday as a result of his injuries.
