Planned homeless center breaks ground Monday in Cumberland County
The Homeless Support Center, according to the county, will provide shelter beds for residents in Cumberland County experiencing homelessness, as well as provide access to programs and resources and programs that will "help them achieve sustainable housing and improve their lives.
Posted — UpdatedThe Cumberland County Board of Commissioners will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday for a planned homeless center.
The Homeless Support Center, according to the county, will provide shelter beds for residents in Cumberland County experiencing homelessness, as well as provide access to programs and resources and programs that will “help them achieve sustainable housing and improve their lives."
The county said the facility will operate 24/7.
The groundbreaking ceremony starts at 4 p.m. and will take place at 344 Hawley Lane next to the Fayetteville Tech Community College Education Center.
