Person stabbed in downtown Raleigh, suspect in custody
One person was stabbed Thursday evening in downtown Raleigh, according to the police.

RALEIGH, N.C. — One person was stabbed Thursday evening in downtown Raleigh, according to the police.
The incident occurred around 6:29 p.m. near West Cabarrus and South West Street, where the victim was stabbed in the stomach and left forearm.
The victim and the suspect, who has been identified as Tykim Howard, 29, were involved in a physical altercation.
The victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and Howard is in custody.
