<b>BENSON, N.C.</b> — One person was shot overnight at a live music venue in Johnston County.

The Johnston County Sheriff's Office confirms the person was shot around 1:30 a.m. at Junction, a club located at 791 Tarheel Road.

The person was taken to WakeMed with serious injuries.

WRAL News was at the scene at 2:30 a.m., and multiple deputies were in the parking lot.
