<b>APEX, N.C.</b> — A pedestrian was struck by a car on Ten-Ten Road near Jessie Drive in Apex.

The State Highway Patrol confirmed the crash but said the pedestrian's injuries were unknown.

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker was on the scene just after 10 p.m. on Sunday while Highway Patrol investigated.

A car was parked along the side of the road, and a pair of boots was in the street.

WRAL News is working to learn more about the crash.

According to Highway Patrol, the crash was the result of a chase that started in Harnett County and ended on North Bragg Boulevard and Mckenzie Road in Spring Lake.
