RALEIGH, N.C. — A tractor trailer became lodged under the Peace Street bridge in downtown Raleigh on Thursday.

The 18-wheeler got stuck under the railroad bridge near McClure Drive before 7 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

This is not the first time a truck has struck the bridge, which holds a yellow "low clearance" sign. In November 2017, a truck tried to drive under the 12-foot-4 bridge and clipped the underside. The roof of the trailer peeled back during the impact.

Similar incidents occurred in February 2017 and in previous years, and the railroad bridge has historically been a bane for trucks driving on Peace Street.

To address the frequent incidents, users have created a Peace Street bridge Twitter account, where humorous photos are tweets are posted from the bridge's point of view, like, "Does this truck make me look fat?"

Peace Street is shut down in the area.
