North Carolina man kills 2 in South Carolina, then himself after crossing back over state line, officials say

WCNC Charlotte reports a man suspected of crossing state lines to kill his wife and her brother in South Carolina went back to North Carolina before taking his own life Wednesday morning.
The Kings Mountain Police Department was contacted by the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office in South Carolina around 11 a.m. to help find the suspect at his home. Police found Sajad Damon Roberts, 49, dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Officials told WCNC Charlotte the victims were his wife, Shenita Merchelle Roberts, 45, and her brother, Darriach Derowne Mack, 49. The office said the shooting unfolded during a domestic incident between Shenita Roberts and Sajad Roberts.
The investigation is ongoing.
