2 W.Va. men plead guilty to drug ring charges

Two people have pleaded guilty to federal charges in connection with a drug ring that spanned several states, including North Carolina and South Carolina.

Authorities said 25-year-old Jubal Culver of Morgantown pleaded guilty Wednesday in Alexandria, Va., to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute five kilograms or more of cocaine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

Thirty-seven-year-old Shawn Delmore pleaded guilty Thursday to conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine.

They are among 19 men indicted following a February raid at the club Envy, when federal agents seized cocaine, weapons, vehicles and nearly $190,000 in cash.

The yearlong investigation also involved the sale of drugs in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
