Fuquay-Varina, N.C. — Authorities have accused a Fuquay-Varina High School student of breaking into and stealing valuables from at least 13 vehicles this past summer.
Chester Maxwell Kruk, 17, of 10108 Lake Wheeler Road, has been charged with 15 counts of breaking-and-entering motor vehicles and 13 counts of larceny from a motor vehicle.
The vehicles were broken into in Fuquay-Varina in June and July, according to the arrest warrant.
Kruk took GPS units from most cars, along with cell phones, purses, satellite radios and speed radars, the warrant says.
Kruk was being held in the Wake County Jail under a $50,000 bond Sunday.
