Raleigh, N.C. — The N.C. Division of Air Quality forecast that ozone in the Triangle could make breathing difficult for the very young, very old and those with lung conditions Friday.
A Code Orange is in effect for the Triangle, Triad, Charlotte and Hickory areas due to elevated levels of air pollution.
People who are sensitive to air pollution should limit outdoor activity under Code Orange conditions, especially in the hottest parts of the day.
