Durham, N.C. — Police said a man's girlfriend stabbed him during a domestic disturbance on Saturday morning.
Officers responding to a call about a domestic dispute involving weapons at 628 E. Knox St. around 9:50 a.m. found a man lying inside a black Kia vehicle.
The victim had been stabbed in the chest and was transported to Duke University Hospital. He was listed in serious but stable condition.
Investigators believe the victim, whose name has not been released, was stabbed inside the home by his girlfriend during an argument.
Police have charged a woman with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury in connection with incident. Her name has not been released.
