Fayetteville, N.C. — An unidentified man who was shot in the face over the weekend has died, authorities said.
The man was found early Sunday at the entrance to the Hollywood Heights Subdivision on Cliffdale Road, police said.
The man was believed to be in his 20s and had tattoos with the names "James + Candice" and "Phyllis," police said. He also was wearing a black, beaded necklace and cross.
Police have released no information about a possible motive or suspect in the shooting.
