Fire Ravages North Raleigh Home

A fire broke out Friday at a 3,400-square-foot house in north Raleigh. Damage was extensive.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Firefighters tackled on a house fire Friday in north Raleigh.

The fire was reported about 8:30 a.m. at a 3,400-square-foot house on 4904 Misty Oak Drive early Friday morning. The house is located north of Interstate 540 between Creedmoor and Leesville roads.

At the height of the fire, 35 firefighters were working to extinguish the blaze.

There were no reports of any injuries. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire, which substantially damaged the home.
