Motorcyclist Crashes Into Raleigh Fire Truck

Investigators said a fire truck was trying to make a turn when the man riding a motorcycle ran into the back of it.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police arrested a man after he crashed his motorcycle into a fire truck.

The accident happened at around 12:30 a.m. Friday on Sanderford Road near Idlewood Village.

Investigators said the fire truck was trying to turn when the man riding the motorcycle ran into the back of it. The truck was slightly damaged. No one was injured.

The man on the motorcycle, who has not yet been identified, was taken into custody and put into a police car.

There is no word yet on charges.
