NC State Fair attendance: The final numbers
The total attendance for the 2017 N.C. State Fair was 1,014,478 people, which organizers say is the fourth-highest attendance of all time.
Posted — UpdatedRALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina State Fair finished strong on Sunday with a crowd that almost reached the day's top attendance numbers.
According to event organizers, 113,470 people attended the fair on Sunday compared to last year's number of 116,041, which was a record for that day.
Less people also attended the fair on Saturday than they did in 2016 (148,424 compared to 150,747), but Friday’s attendance was 100,516 people compared with 85,473 last year.
