The National College Fair, a great opportunity for college-bound students to learn more about dozens of higher education institutions, is this week in downtown Raleigh.


It's scheduled for 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Raleigh Convention Center, 500 S. Salisbury St. Dozens of colleges and universities will have representatives on hand to answer questions and share information about their programs and offerings.

Workshops include sessions on paying for college, college admissions, community college options, essay writing and interviewing and more. The <a href="http://www.nacacnet.org/college-fairs/SpringNCF/Pages/Raleigh.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><strong>event's website</strong></a> has more information and online registration.
