RALEIGH, N.C. — It's another sign of the warm weather headed our way — Moore Square's interactive water feature is now open.

It runs daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m (weather permitting). Visitors are asked to practice social distancing, wear a mask when not using the water feature and stay home if you feel sick or have a fever.

"We're looking forward to the warmer weather and are excited to offer a place for families to cool down and have fun," said Jenna Kostka, Moore Square director, in a press release. "We are safely adding more programming to our calendar and hopeful that this summer will be a great one here in the Square!"

Moore Square is in downtown Raleigh, across from Marbles Kids Museum, at 200 S. Blount St.
It's also home to Square Burger, which is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday, with burgers, hot dogs and salads. There's a small playground. And there are other events planned, including a drop-in acorn hunt for kids and families, food trucks on Monday, make and take crafts and, starting in May, a market.
